Lyrics

Explosions twist into the sky
A perfect scenery with the sunset behind
A great balloon with a surface of carefulness
For me to fly away, when I am
Snow blind, snow trapped, a trembling acrobat
Some people tell me to shut it down as good advice
Some people tell me to hold it up to the light
And I’m not sure anymore which it takes to survive.

I string it together like a tailor with yarn
I will surrender when I’m safer from harm
When the hurricane comes there’s no stopping it
So I will hold it in, and show you a
Snow blind, on impact, a perfect acrobat
So would you tell me to shut it down as good advice?
Would you tell me to not hold it to the light?
Are you sure that you’re telling me what it takes to survive

(You take your good advice. Hold it up to the light. I got my will to survive.)

You see the warpaint I wear on my face
Cause I’m no stranger to a dangerous escape
I’ve met dragons in battle and slain each of them
Upon a choice this could end, not to mistake a foe for a friend.
So would you tell me to shut it down as good advice?
Would you tell me to hold it up to the light?
And I’m not sure anymore which it takes to survive.
The rain is falling in an effort to empty the sky
I am silent in an effort to understand why
I still struggle with the measures of how to survive.
Snow blind, snow trapped, some kind of acrobat.
